Children learn and develop through play, so we teach through play.

Daily Activities

Physical Development - building strong, healthy bodies through nutritious meals, kids' yoga and outdoor play
Language & Literacy - phonics, exposure to letters and sight words, story time, show & tell, nursery rhymes and songs
Numeracy - various maths concepts using numbers, colors, and shapes
Creative Arts - using various mediums (paint, crayons, etc.) and materials (paper, recycle material, etc.)
Problem-solving skills - through building blocks, puzzles, and legos
Life skills - doing things themselves; identifying and caring for their belongings; serving meals, cleaning up after themselves
Social skills - learning about safety and good manners; taking turns and sharing; working in groups
Spiritual & Emotional Development - daily affirmations, poems, and prayers

Extra Murals

ECLAH is committed to a full and rounded development of its learners and offers

various extra-mural activities that help enrich their overall development by uncovering their hidden talents and equipping them with valuabe life skills.

These elective extra murals, though coordinated by the school for convenience, are offered by external service providers at an additional cost, which must be paid for directly to the service provider:

Swimming Lessons
Sports & Movement Lessons
Music lessons
Dance/Ballet lessons
Computer lessons

For swimming lessons, children are picked up from school and driven to the swimming school.

Enrollment forms are available at the pre-school.

School Events & Special Days

Pre-school is about helping children to make sense of the world around them through exposure and participation.

Parents' Day - Parents participate in activities that support the children's growth and development. This takes place at the end of each term at the preschool.
Annual Animal Farm trip - Children benefit from being out in nature and interacting with animals, which makes learning practical and memorable.
Annual Photoshoot - Children receive a photo package, as memorabilia of their pre-school years and a beautiful of their growth and change over the years.
Spring Day - A fun-filled day of water games, waterslides, and cooling sweet treats
Year-end Celebration - All ECLAH Pre-school branches gather under one roof for concert performances, the Graduation Ceremony, and Christmas Party.

Other days are celebrated and recognized by children coming to school dressed up according to the theme e.g. Valentines' Day, Africa Day, Heritage Day.
